This would be a great site for the Government category: It is somewhat the nature of things ... so much scamming. And nothing is done about it.

Best Filipina Scammer ever is an official of BIR, Revenue Region 13, Cebu. Will corruption always be acceptable as being "business as usual" in the Philippines?

Website name: Cagayan de Oro City Official Government Website
What makes this website outstanding?
The Cagayan de Oro City Government has actively been using the web in giving information to those who are interested in moving into the city, or learning more about the city as well as giving continuous information to the kagay-anons. They have been constantly updating the news about the city and measures being pursued by the city officials to make cagayan de oro a better place. it's a great site also for those who would want to know what they can do in cagayan de oro, such as knowing where to go and what to do while in the city. The site is complete with the list of barangays as well as list of the officials. check it out!

Website name: "Bulacan, Philippines"
Website url:

The website of the Province of Bulacan provides comprehensive information about the Province, its glorious contribution to Philippine history, its colorful cultural heritage, and its warm, hospitable and loving people.

The website aids in attracting investors to the Province by showcasing therein the various investment opportunities and incetives that abound in the Province. Likewise, it serves as an effective medium whereby Bulacan's major industries as well as its local products (dubbed as "Tatak Bulakenyo") are promoted to the global market.

The website also showcases the numerous historical, ecological, religious, cultural and recreational tourist attractions that abound in Bulacan.

Also, the Provincial Government of Bulacan is able to utilize the website as an effective medium for providing public service such as providing employment (Bulacan Job Central); reduce and eliminate red-tape (through the Financial Document Tracking System); promote transparency (through the E-Procurement/Online Bidding); and a multitude of other services that are available to the the public online.

Because of these initiatives, the website was hailed and awarded by NCC as the "Best Provincial Government website" for two consecutive years (2005 and 2006).

Likewise, in the 2006 Philippine Web Awards the same website sweeped both the "Best E-Government website" AND "People's Choice for Best E-Government website" awards.

It is with deep pride as a Bulakenyo that I hereby nominate the website of my proud and noble people to the Web Awards under the Government category.

Mabuhay ang Dakilang Lalawigan ng Bulacan!
