Mobius Games
http://www.mobiusgames.net/

I have been with Mobius Games for more than 2 years; I left a few months ago to begin a new life with my family elsewhere. I'm not afraid to vote for it as the best gaming portal in the Philippines.

The Mobius Games portal features a wealth of gaming resources, an inclusive community space, online tools to manage its relationship with cafe owners, and social networking capabilities that bring together the individual and social gamer, the cafe owner, the support industry, and the general public. It is at the forefront of gaming technology and online marketing, using in-house resources to create content, pioneer innovation, and expand the market beyond the Philippines.

Mobius Games pushes the online frontier to a world of convenience beyond gaming.

It manages its own call center to provide game support to its customer base; it created a pioneering partnership concept with its cafe owners by creating a rewards club, the Cafe of Choice, and hooking the cafes' local promotion efforts to its audience thru its Player Promos.

Mobius Games developed its own payment gateway, Mobius Online and created its own metacurrency, the ePoints; its growing list of partners is testament to this success. Soon, you will be able to use ePoints to purchase even non-gaming items.

The Mobius Games portal itself is developed around a keen understanding of the online experience. Usability and standards-based development are the daily mantra in building its numerous component websites. User-generated content drives its ForPlay newsletter, encouraging a direct relationship with its immediate audience of passionate users. Some of its game masters and marketing people are bloggers too, and help bridge the gap between company and product, something which not even the best customer support can match.

Mobius, thru its parent company DME, advocates responsible gaming, social outreach programs, and environmental conservation.

And I think, to top it all, our drive came not from winning web competitions, but keeping the hearts and minds of gamers by offering them an online neighborhood where they can do more, if not all.

Mobius has done all that for its audience of loyal gamers, without worrying about recognition, even shunning web competitions altogether. There's a running joke about how being very busy, we only learn of web competitions only when the awarding ceremonies are announced.
